One of our KRC sponsors, Doak Shirreff, has teamed up with REC Fitness and the Third Space Charity for the 2024 Movement Fest in support of Mental Health Week. They will be hosting their event on SATURDAY, MAY 11th with a 5K walk/run/skate/roll/move from REC Fitness (880 Clement Ave), starting at 9:15. It’s fun, easy, and casual; kids and dogs are welcome. They will also have classes at REC by donation at 8:00, 9:15, and 10:00am, with all proceeds going to Third Space for Mental Health Week.
The KRC will still be hosting it’s regular Goats’ run, but we have decided to run from the MoveWell Cafe location, which is just around the corner from REC Fitness. We’d encourage anyone to join the Movement Fest either for their run, or for one of their classes that same morning!
