The Kelowna Running Club will provide opportunities for the community to participate, recreate and be educated in the sport of running at whatever level they choose.
Our mission is to help bring the community of running to as many people as possible. We host multiple weekly runs, provide group coaching and continue to organize some of the longest standing races in Kelowna.
The IRA Larry Nicholas race, sponsored by the KRC, will be an in-person event, Nov. 7th. Safety measures have been put in place to adhere to proper COVID 19 protocols. Requirements for this outside event are: vaccination passport, masks at start and finish of race, bottled water, no day of race registration, and no gathering for awards. (Results will be posted online.) First 100 registrants will receive branded KRC mask!
If you haven’t already, you can sign up here.
If you are not running, perhaps you would be interested in volunteering to be a course marshal. If so, please email Cindy Rhodes at [email protected].
Members of the Nicholas family will be on hand to start the race, so we hope you will support this event and the bursary it funds. KRC donates the net proceeds from this race to a bursary so your participation is supporting a good cause!
You'll be welcome and all runs and races will become wonderful experiences.Join Us!
