Larry Nicholas 9K

The Larry Nicholas Memorial is a fun day including both 4 and 9 KM cross-country routes in Mission Creek Regional Park. This park is a wonderful retreat where you can transition from city to the trails in minutes.

Larry was an avid athlete with a love for running. His untimely passing while rock climbing in the mid-1980s has been celebrated every year since through this run that is sponsored by the Kelowna Running Club, but driven by his mother Donna Nicholas and their family.

KRC donates a portion of the proceeds from this race to a scholarship fund established in Larry's honour.

The Larry Nicholas Memorial Cross-Country Race has been a stalwart of the Kelowna Running Club and Interior Running Association cross country race series for over 30 years.
